Bystander

So I took the chance to go back and look at some of my old blog posts.
What. An awful. Blog.
I feel like a bystander in some sort of hideous crime.
Then again, maybe I'll look back at this post some day and shudder.
Anyway! I have to read this terrible book for English called "A Separate Peace." This is a book that takes boring to a whole new level. The month I was given to read it is almost up, and I've only gotten to page 11 of 200-something. I also have to read the book 47 Ronin for World Civ, but that one's not nearly as bad. Samurai and death. Funfun.
The Freshman Dance is on Friday! Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that I'll be at my Dad's house, so that's not happening for me. But recently (very recently, about 5 minutes ago), I was asked how I had responded to Leo. Apparently, he had asked me to the dance. Or that's what's being told to everyone, at least. He did no such thing.
My mom is on a business trip. In Kansas City. I am a teenager. Home alone for three days. What does this mean? PAR-TAY.
No, not really. Hale to the no. It actually means me, washing dishes, eating junk food, being a couch potato for three days. It's even worse because there was a snowstorm, which means no school today. But I made cookies!
I think that I need to write a story before it's too late. A.K.A Before Mrs. Eller completely corrupts my mind.
OH. OH. Speaking of Eller (kind of), I submitted my official request to my guidance counseler to allow me to take Freshman Winds (band) as myy elective next semester instead of public speaking. We came up with a new schedule, and she submitted it to her supervisor to be eith approved or rejected.
If it is approved, it will mean several things.
1. No public speaking = No Leo. Becuase I would have been in his class. I'm sorry to say that this doesn't upset me in the slightest.
2. NO. MORE. ELLER. Putting Freshman Winds on my schedule requires some moving around of my other classes. Namely, English. I would be in a class with Violet and Catman. How...incredibly wonderful. But it also makes me feel kind of disappointed in myself. For not seeing Eller's class out.
3. I will wield the clarinet once more. I will no longer have to practice alone in my bedroom.
4. A new homeroom. If I do Freshman Winds, then the band room will become my homeroom. This makes me somewhat sad because I kind of adore my homeroom. But, I will deal.
IF I'm approved. Which isn't looking too likely.
