On the list of generally disliked items, allergies are right up there between tax season and soy cubes. In class the other day, I had a complete sneezing breakdown. My conversation with the teacher was something like, "I have (sneeze) really (sneeze) bad aller-(sneeze)-gies. Can I (sneeze) please (sneeze) see the (sneeze) nurse (sneeze)?" Then my mom almost refused to come bring me allergy medicine because she thought I sounded fine over the phone.
Guess what the theme for the 8th grade Farewell Dance is? "Sail Up." It's cruise ships and sailing and nautical stuff. It is just about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. However, I found an amazing nautical dress, which is on clearance with an extra 30% off. That really couldn't have been more perfect.

You love it, right? Isn't it so exremely nautical?
There's also a nautical skirt, but I'm desperate to wear a dress. This blog is new, so I'm guessing nobody has read it yet, but if you do come across my blog, please comment about the dress! I really need an opinion of some sort!

A Memory Of... Misty
Surveys are the best way to get to know people in three minutes or less, so here's a quick one about myself...
What is your name?
Misty.
How old are you?
Younger than fifteen, yet older than thirteen.
What is your occupation?
An 8th grader, soon to be freshman.
Are you excited for high school?
Not. At. All. They cut freshman sports for us New Jerseyans, so tennis is a no-no until sophmore year. And, like the good student I am, I took all honors classes. Yes, I know I'll be buried in homework. Yes, I know I'll have no social life. Yes, I know that the fact that I never study will result in several Fs. But, people have done it before and survived. If I know that it's survivable, then I'm sure I can find a way to have a social life.
What would you most like to do?
Spend a year in every country in Europe, maybe more in France, since I speak pretty fluent French. I would also like to camp on a non-campground, in one of those few remaining parks that allows you to pitch up a tent pretty much anywhere. And I would like to kayak down the Grand Canyon.
What do you look like?
I'm pretty out there, being exactly half Venezuelan and half Chinese. Nothing in between. I have brown eyes that have a slightly Asian slant, but are too big to look fully Asian. I also have long, chocolate brown hair that matches my eyes (I think my hair is my best feature) and tan skin. Anything else? Oh, I'm 5' 4" (average height for my age) and I'm skinny.
Is there a "special someone"?
Why, Leo of course. (wink)
